Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding as needed
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control guidelines
• Document care accurately and timely in facility records
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and the interdisciplinary care team
• Support safe transfers, mobility assistance and comfort measures

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Comfortable working evening and overnight shifts
• Ability to pass required facility onboarding, background checks and immunization/screening
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude
• Previous experience as a CNA is a plus, but per-diem openings may welcome both new and experienced CNAs

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with ADLs and bedside care
• Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
• Infection control and safe patient handling practices
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
• Reliable documentation and attention to detail
