Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
• Assist with activities of daily living and encourage patient independence
• Support nursing documentation by accurately recording observations and care given
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure timely, high-quality patient experiences

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Prior experience as a CNA preferred; open to new clinicians with strong bedside skills
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and any required health screenings
• Reliable transportation and punctuality for overnight shifts
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude when supporting patients and families

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient hygiene, transfers, and ambulation techniques
• Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observation
• Infection prevention and adherence to standard precautions
• Charting and documentation best practices
• Teamwork and clear communication in fast-paced environments
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
