Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care across the clinical spectrum
• Assess patient condition and develop/implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the care team promptly
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions in the electronic health record
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Advocate for patient needs and promote a safe healing environment

Qualifications

• Required: Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential (Class: RN|LPN as listed)
• Active nursing license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure
• Clinical experience in acute care settings preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification recommended or required by facility
• Ability to pass background check and health screening (immunizations, TB, etc.)
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or diploma for RNs)
• Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent for LPNs

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and triage skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy fundamentals
• Wound care and basic clinical procedures
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
• Effective patient and family education techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary care team
• Strong time management and prioritization under busy caseloads
• Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement
