Roles & Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, wrap, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment to strict standards
• Maintain accurate inventory of sterile supplies and ensure ORs and clinics are stocked
• Process instruments for multiple departments and associated clinics with care and precision
• Document sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance to meet compliance requirements
• Collaborate with surgical teams and clinic staff to ensure instruments are available on time
• Participate in rotating weekend and holiday on-call to support continuous patient care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 3 years of sterile processing experience
• Current CSPDT (Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) or CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) required
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM and participate in rotating weekend/holiday call
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to infection control practices

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Sterile processing and instrument sterilization
• Cleaning and wrapping instruments for sterilization
• Inventory management and supply restocking
• Familiarity with CSPDT and CRCST standards and practices
• Experience with surgical instrumentation and clinic sterile processing
