Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per Diem (days vary), 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, Night shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for patients during overnight hours
Perform thorough assessments and document patient status accurately
Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Respond promptly to patient needs, alarms and emergent situations
Maintain accurate handoffs and communicate changes in patient condition

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
Current basic clinical competency for med administration and patient assessment
Comfortable working overnight/extended shifts and adapting to per diem schedules
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Previous acute care or long-term care experience is a plus

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma or practical nursing program)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and documentation
Electronic health record charting and handoff communication
Basic emergency response and clinical prioritization
Relationship building with patients, families and care teams
