Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care with dignity and respect
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and ambulation while following care plans
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary staff
• Assist with meal service and observe dietary needs and restrictions
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through friendly, attentive care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Previous CNA experience preferred but entry-level CNAs with training are welcome
• Ability to work overnight shifts and provide reliable attendance for scheduled shifts
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Basic familiarity with charting and following established care plans
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Basic documentation and charting accuracy
