Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Las Palomas Ctr
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document thoroughly
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
• Perform assessments and assist with patient care plans in collaboration with the team
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and compliance with facility standards
• Support patient and family education with clear, empathetic communication
• Contribute to a positive, teamwork-focused environment and assist with unit tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — current, active license (New Mexico licensure or eligibility preferred)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or obtain upon hire)
• Prior LPN clinical experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills considered
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent diploma

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid fundamentals in medication administration and patient assessment
• Skilled in wound care, basic procedures, and monitoring for clinical changes
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and timely documentation
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient education skills
