Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition promptly
- Support safe transfers and positioning while following facility protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with the care team
- Help create a comfortable, respectful environment that preserves resident dignity
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required)
- Ability to work overnight 12.5-hour shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
- Comfortable performing hands-on resident care and following care plans
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Must be able to meet facility requirements for health and background checks
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational patient care and assistance with ADLs
- Basic vital signs collection and documentation
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Comfortable with resident transfer and positioning techniques
- Clear communication and teamwork in a clinical setting
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
