Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (variable days), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Night shift
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to patients during overnight shifts
- Assess patient needs, monitor clinical status, and respond promptly to changes
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
- Provide patient and family education with patience and clarity
- Maintain accurate electronic charting and ensure continuity of care at handoff
- Act quickly and confidently in emergencies to stabilize patients and escalate as needed
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or eligible Compact RN license
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS/PALS a plus
- Prior acute care or hospital nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment skills and comfort with overnight care responsibilities
- Ability to pass facility onboarding, background checks, and health screenings
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
- Medication administration and IV therapy fundamentals
- Accurate, timely electronic medical record documentation
- Effective communication and teamwork in high-paced settings
- Basic emergency response and critical thinking under pressure
- Infection control and patient safety best practices
