Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned residents
- Assess and monitor patient status, reporting changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Document care and clinical observations clearly in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow care plans
- Educate residents and families about care, medications, and discharge planning
- Support safe transitions of care and escalate concerns when needed
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential
- Current, unrestricted licensure to practice in the state where the assignment is located
- Clinical experience in long-term care, rehab, or acute care preferred
- Strong communication skills and comfort with electronic charting
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on per-diem assignments
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid fundamentals in patient assessment and basic nursing procedures
- Medication administration and accurate documentation
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Able to prioritize, multitask, and maintain attention to detail
