Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Days vary, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (day shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes promptly
- Document patient care clearly and timely in the chart
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
- Promote patient safety and adhere to infection control standards
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and self-care
- Respond to emergencies and escalate concerns to the appropriate provider
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license (eligible to practice in North Carolina)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Previous clinical experience in a similar care setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset
- Ability to work 12.5-hour day shifts and manage a fast-paced workload
Education
- LPN: Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program
- RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and nursing assessments
- Proficient documentation and charting practices
- Knowledge of patient safety and infection control principles
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work collaboratively
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong patient education skills
