Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Las Palomas Ctr
• Assess patient status and implement individualized care plans with confidence
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
• Document patient care clearly and promptly in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families to promote recovery, independence, and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico (or compact RN license if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) encouraged where relevant
• Per-diem or acute care experience is a plus — bring your clinical confidence and compassion
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on a care team
• Proof of immunizations and any facility-required screenings/background checks

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and monitoring skills with attention to detail
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Patient and family education with a focus on clear, compassionate communication
• Basic infection control and safety protocols
