Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform MRI and CT procedures with precision and patient-first care
• Operate radiographic equipment including X-ray and Fluoroscopy (C-arm, OR work) following manufacturer guidelines
• Practice radiation safety and adhere to ALARA principles to protect patients and staff
• Educate patients clearly about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure cooperation and comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR and manage imaging documentation in PACS/RIS
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate service calls when necessary
• Assist with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when needed
• Train, assist, and cross-train imaging staff to support team capability and coverage
• Order, stock, and maintain supply inventory to keep the department running smoothly
• Contribute to quality improvement, compliance, infection control, and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) with CT and MRI certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Preferred: Two (2) years prior experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist with CT and MRI
• Experience with PACS and RIS/HIS and working with electronic health records
• Cross-training or experience in DEXA and Mammography is a plus
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 if position requires driving) and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Successful background check and pre-employment drug screen required

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required)

• Computed Tomography (CT) operation and protocols
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures and safety
• Radiography and X-ray imaging skills
• Fluoroscopy operation, including C-arm and OR support
• Radiation safety and ALARA practices
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation and billing basics
• PACS and RIS/HIS image and info management
• Patient education, communication, and compassionate care
• Equipment troubleshooting and maintenance coordination
• Inventory management and basic clerical support
