Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Support residents with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and toileting needs
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff accurately and promptly
• Document care provided clearly and thoroughly in the patient record
• Assist with safe transfers and use of mobility equipment to promote comfort and safety
• Help create a warm, respectful environment that preserves dignity and independence

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Current or active CNA credential and compliance with facility onboarding requirements
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Prior caregiving or long-term care experience preferred but new grads with strong heart are welcome
• Ability to pass background and health screenings as required by the facility

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Approved CNA training program completion and certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient-centered care and bedside manner
• Comfortable with documentation and charting basics
• Skilled in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Clear communication with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Dependable, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting
