Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional abilities and design individualized occupational therapy plans
• Provide goal-oriented therapeutic interventions to improve independence and safety
• Document all patient encounters accurately in EPIC and complete required Trinity checklists
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, equipment, and home safety
• Participate in Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and skills validation
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and facility requirements

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license (Michigan) — license verification required
• Current BLS certification
• Experience using EPIC for documentation and care coordination
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass Trinity 10-panel drug screen, fit test, respirator evaluation and required immunizations
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient education skills
• Reliable transportation for coverage across Livingston and Washtenaw Counties

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC documentation and workflows
• Skilled in standardized OT assessments and outcome measurement
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment, mobility aids, and home safety recommendations
• Infection control practices and respirator use (fit-tested)
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Time management, caseload organization, and patient prioritization
