Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
• Perform thorough assessments and document findings clearly and accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following orders and best practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and documentation standards

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license (able to practice in New Mexico preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse; per-diem or acute care experience a plus
• Strong assessment, IV and medication administration skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management abilities
• Ability to follow facility policies and adapt to different clinical settings

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Basic critical thinking and prioritization in acute care scenarios
• Patient and family education techniques
• Team collaboration and effective handoff communication
