Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during your shift
• Perform thorough assessments and document patient status accurately
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders and policy
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families, helping them understand care and recovery
• Escalate changes in condition promptly to ensure patient safety
• Maintain charting, handoffs, and shift-to-shift communication with clarity
• Uphold infection control practices and facility standards at all times

Qualifications

• Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse credential (per job class)
• Valid nursing license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain NC licensure
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification expected (obtainable if needed)
• Comfortable working extended day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) as a per diem clinician
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and ability to work independently
• Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and excellent communication skills

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (diploma, ADN, or BSN as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing assessment and care planning
• Medication administration and safety procedures
• Skilled in patient monitoring, wound care, and ADL assistance
• Proficient with electronic health record documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient/family education and team collaboration
