Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults and/or geriatric residents
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient status, identify changes, and escalate concerns promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the EMR
• Educate patients and families to promote recovery, safety, and self-care
• Support a positive, person-centered environment that respects patient dignity

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico (required)
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred or available based on unit
• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred — new grads with strong clinical training are welcome to apply
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Good time management, prioritization, and delegation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
