Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging for trauma, stroke, emergency room and inpatient exams
• Operate and optimize GE 64 Rev Evo and GE 128 Rev EVO scanners for accurate studies
• Triage and prioritize emergency CT requests quickly and professionally
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while following radiation safety protocols
• Document exams and patient information accurately using Meditech
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, escalating issues when needed
• Collaborate with radiologists, ED staff and multidisciplinary teams to support timely diagnosis
• Participate in call rotation and provide dependable coverage for nights, weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Required: ARRT (CT) certification
• Required: Current CPR certification
• Required: SCRQSA certification
• Required: Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, holidays and participating in call rotation
• Preferred: Experience with Meditech documentation systems
• Preferred: Hands-on experience with GE 64 Rev Evo and GE 128 Rev EVO scanners

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program (Associate degree or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols for trauma and stroke
• Proficiency operating GE 64 Rev Evo and GE 128 Rev EVO scanners
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems
• Ability to perform under pressure in emergency department and inpatient settings
• Excellent patient communication and compassionate bedside manner
• Understanding of radiation safety and quality control practices
• Quick clinical decision-making for emergent imaging needs
• Team-oriented attitude and clear communication with radiologists and clinical staff
