Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiologic procedures using prescribed techniques and adjust equipment settings for optimal imaging
• Prepare exam rooms and position patients, including preparing contrast material and support devices as needed
• Maintain quality control records and perform required QC tasks for imaging equipment
• Clean and maintain x-ray/CT rooms and equipment daily to ensure a safe environment
• Perform general clerical duties such as scheduling, answering phones, and patient check-in when required
• Respond to call assignments and provide timely, high-quality imaging services across shifts
• Perform basic diagnostic testing and general maintenance on imaging equipment to keep operations running smoothly
• Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure for patients and staff

Qualifications

• ARRT registered (required)
• CT certification with a minimum of 6 months experience in Computerized Tomography (required)
• Completion of formal radiologic technologist training in an AMA-approved program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• MRI experience/preference is a plus but not required
• Willingness to relocate to a rural area (required)
• Ability to perform call assignments and flexible scheduling

• Completion of formal radiologic technologist training in an AMA-approved program

• Radiation protection techniques and safety practices
• Operation of CT and other imaging equipment
• Patient positioning and preparation for diagnostic imaging
• Quality control procedures and documentation
• Contrast material preparation and administration
• Scheduling, front-desk clerical duties, and strong communication skills
• Basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a rural healthcare setting
