Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures following established protocols to ensure accurate, timely results
• Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine and tissue specimens with care and precision
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment to keep testing running smoothly
• Prepare reagents, solutions and media needed for a variety of diagnostic tests
• Record and manage test results accurately in the laboratory information system (LIS)
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols to maintain a compliant, safe laboratory environment
• Collaborate with lab staff and healthcare providers to support quality patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Laboratory Technician or similar role in a clinical laboratory setting
• Proficiency in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis and blood banking techniques
• Experience with blood sampling, sample processing and reagent preparation
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols, quality control procedures and SOP adherence
• Comfortable using laboratory information systems (LIS) for accurate data management
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication/teamwork
• Ability to relocate to Culbertson, MT prior to start (required)

• Sample collection and processing best practices
• Hands-on laboratory testing across hematology, chemistry, microbiology and coagulation
• Quality control and documentation
• Laboratory equipment maintenance and reagent preparation
• Laboratory information systems (LIS) and data management
• SOP adherence and safety protocols
• Phlebotomy and hospital setting experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork
