Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients under physician orders to determine occupational therapy needs and functional goals.
Develop individualized treatment programs using evidence-based therapeutic procedures.
Implement interventions and train patients in use of assistive devices to maximize independence.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the rehabilitation team to ensure coordinated care.
Document patient progress, update treatment plans, and maintain timely clinical records.
Educate patients and families on home programs, safety strategies, and adaptive techniques.

Qualifications

Current CA Occupational Therapist License (required).
Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (required).
Ability to evaluate and develop treatment programs per physician orders.
Practice in accordance with the California State Practice Act.
