Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging including X-ray and fluoroscopy with precision and care
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring safety and calibration standards are met
• Position patients and apply radiation safety principles for optimal image quality and minimal exposure
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support accurate, timely diagnoses
• Document exams in the PACS and electronic records, ensuring clear, complete communications
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear explanations to put patients at ease during procedures

Qualifications

• Current ARRT RT(R) credential required
• Current, unencumbered Oregon Radiologic Technologist license required
• Healthcare Provider BLS required
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Comfortable performing fluoroscopy and general radiography; experience with CT, MRI, digital mammography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound or PET-CT is a plus
• Strong patient positioning, radiation safety, and infection control practices

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT RT(R) certification
• Current Oregon Radiologic Technologist license

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiologic technology fundamentals and best practices
• Fluoroscopy and X-ray imaging techniques
• Familiarity with CT, MRI, digital mammography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and PET-CT workflows
• PACS and electronic health record documentation
• Patient positioning, radiation safety, and dose management
• Clear communication and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment
