Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
- Monitor and assess patient status, documenting changes and communicating with the care team
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to facility protocols
- Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers during your shift to support smooth operations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies promptly and effectively
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN licensure (as applicable) is required
- Comfortable working overnight per-diem shifts
- Prior clinical experience in acute care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN or LPN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and monitoring overnight
- Medication administration and documentation
- Clinical judgment and prioritization during busy shifts
- Clear, timely charting and handoff communication
