Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and perform high-quality CT examinations to support accurate, timely diagnoses
• Position patients safely and compassionately, ensuring comfort while achieving optimal imaging results
• Apply radiation safety practices and imaging protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with radiologists and the diagnostic imaging team to review images and prioritize urgent studies
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient and equipment records
• Assist with other imaging modalities as needed and support a smooth patient flow across the department

Qualifications

• Current ARRT RT(R) credential required
• Current ARRT (CT) credential required
• Current unencumbered Oregon Radiologic Technologist License required
• Healthcare Provider BLS required
• Hospital experience preferred
• Comfortable working evening shifts (1:30 PM - 12:00 AM) and providing excellent patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging expertise and cross-sectional anatomy knowledge
• Familiarity with X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, PET-CT
• Patient positioning and compassionate patient care skills
• Strong communication and teamwork within a hospital setting
• Attention to detail for image quality and documentation
