Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with ADLs and personal hygiene
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
- Support residents with mobility and safe transfers, using proper body mechanics
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver individualized, dignified care
- Help create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Comfortable working overnight shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Current basic life support/CPR certification preferred or able to obtain
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Ability to perform physical aspects of resident care safely
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Proficient in taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Knowledge of infection control and safety practices
- Good documentation and observational skills
- Compassionate resident-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
