Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (per diem; specific days not provided)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and safe transfers
Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output and behavioral changes
Communicate important observations and concerns to nursing staff in a timely manner
Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for residents
Support residents' dignity, independence and emotional needs during overnight hours

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Comfort working overnight shifts and with per diem scheduling
Reliable, professional demeanor and strong teamwork skills
Basic documentation skills and ability to follow care plans
Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of resident care and activities of daily living
Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
Infection control and safe patient handling principles
Clear communication with residents, families and clinical staff
Dependability in a fast-paced overnight care setting
