Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, direct patient care for telemetry patients with professionalism and attention to detail
• Monitor cardiac telemetry continuously and identify rhythm changes promptly
• Assess patient status, interpret clinical data, and escalate concerns to the care team as needed
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following facility protocols
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement patient-centered care plans
• Support patient and family education to promote understanding and recovery

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (KY license or appropriate compact/eligibility as required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Telemetry experience or comfort with cardiac monitoring preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Able to complete facility onboarding, background check, and drug screen as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in cardiac telemetry monitoring and rhythm recognition
• Skilled in patient assessment, vital signs interpretation, and clinical prioritization
• Knowledge of inpatient nursing standards and safety practices
• Ability to document clearly and efficiently in the electronic medical record
• Team-oriented with effective patient/family communication skills
