Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, supporting activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and safe transfers
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Keep clear, timely documentation of resident care and observations
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver resident-centered care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the applicable state (required)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts
• Previous long-term care or assisted living experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current state CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADL assistance and safe patient handling techniques
• Familiarity with vital sign measurement and basic patient assessment
• Good documentation and charting practices
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Team-oriented with the ability to follow care plans and directions
• Calm under pressure and attentive to resident needs
