Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts.
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient status with attention to detail.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Document care and patient responses clearly in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate timely patient care.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and escalate concerns when needed.
• Support patients and families with education, comfort, and professional guidance.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential as indicated by the facility (RN preferred for this posting).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications welcomed.
• Comfortable working night shifts and managing multiple priorities in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or BSN).
• BSN preferred where available.

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills appropriate for acute care.
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices.
• Electronic medical record (EMR) familiarity and accurate charting.
• Patient education, wound care, and basic bedside procedures.
• Time management, critical thinking, and teamwork under pressure.
