Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility to prevent falls
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents
• Communicate clearly with the care team and families to ensure coordinated care
• Document care accurately and timely in the facility charting system

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screens
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and supporting residents at all hours
• Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and teamwork mindset
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
• Taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Infection control and proper use of PPE
• Safe transfer and mobility techniques
• Basic charting and documentation practices
• Ability to follow care plans and nursing directions
