Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and team
• Document care accurately and timely in the patient chart
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver a consistent, person-centered experience

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Active CNA credential in New Mexico or ability to obtain before start
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to care
• Previous CNA experience preferred but dependable new grads are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to follow care plans and accurately document care
• Team player with good interpersonal and observational skills
• Familiarity with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
