Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms and stress treadmill studies with care and precision
• Operate echo treadmill equipment and perform stress testing protocols safely
• Support non-invasive cardiology lab workflow and assist with structural heart procedures in the cath lab as needed
• Capture diagnostic images, make accurate measurements, and provide clear preliminary documentation
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to BLS and facility protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the cardiac care team to contribute to excellent patient outcomes
• Participate in alternating weekend coverage and help keep the lab running smoothly

Qualifications

• BLS (required)
• RDCS (AE) or RDMS (required)
• General cardiac echocardiography experience required
• Experience with Echo Treadmill / stress testing
• Structural heart experience preferred and helpful for cath lab support
• Hospital-based sonographer experience preferred; ability to work a 4x10 schedule with alternating weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in echocardiography and transthoracic imaging
• Experience performing and interpreting stress (treadmill) studies
• Familiarity with non-invasive cardiology lab workflows
• Comfort assisting with structural heart cases and cath lab support
• Proficient patient positioning, image optimization, and documentation
• Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital setting
