Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Ensure safe transfer and positioning of patients, using proper body mechanics
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control practices
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support excellent care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Experience working in long term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
• Willingness to work night shifts and flexible per diem schedules
• Clear background check and favorable employment references
• Reliable transportation to Belen Meadows Center

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Good observational skills and ability to escalate concerns appropriately
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Compassionate communication and teamwork mindset
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
