Location: Belen, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (schedule varies), 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM NOC (overnight)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and resident condition, reporting any changes promptly
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, grooming, and feeding with dignity and respect
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow facility care plans
Work closely with nursing staff to support individualized resident care
Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies at all times

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or facility-required
Comfortable and experienced providing overnight patient care
Ability to pass facility health screenings (immunizations, TB test) as required
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced care environment

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Accurate vital sign measurement and basic clinical observations
Safe resident transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Familiarity with infection control and safe hygiene practices
Basic documentation skills and ability to follow care plans
Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication with residents and families
