Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support
• Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
• Support safe patient transfers, positioning, and fall prevention
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations
• Keep patient areas clean, stocked, and comfortable while respecting patient dignity

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Valid CNA credential for New Mexico or ability to obtain state certification
• Comfortable working overnight/night shift hours
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a care team
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Ability to pass facility background check and required screenings

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with ADLs and basic patient care
• Knowledge of infection control and safe handling techniques
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Good time management, attention to detail, and observational skills
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
