Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor patients’ conditions, report changes promptly, and intervene as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate safe care
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers during your shift with clear communication
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to facility policies and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing (Maine licensure preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Prior experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
• Comfort working independently overnight with strong assessment and prioritization skills
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (diploma, ADN, or BSN as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Clear written and verbal communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation practices
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced overnight environment
• Knowledge of infection control, patient safety standards, and basic emergency response
