Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and compassion
• Measure and record vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly
• Provide attentive, person-centered care that supports residents’ comfort and safety
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team to ensure continuity
• Help maintain a clean, orderly, and respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and adapting to per-diem schedules
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; compassionate approach to patient care
• Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings as required

Education

• CNA certification (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
• Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
• Infection control practices and safe hygiene procedures
• Basic charting and effective verbal communication with care teams
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
