Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, days as scheduled, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM Night shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and independence
Document care accurately and timely in the resident record
Support residents during meals and medication rounds as directed
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment that protects dignity and privacy

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to work evening and overnight shifts and be responsive for per diem scheduling
Strong communication and teamwork skills; dependable and resident-focused
Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Accurate charting and attention to detail
Compassionate communication and teamwork
