Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead daily department operations to ensure smooth, efficient imaging services
• Provide technical leadership and act as a resource for CT staff
• Ensure staff competence by coaching, mentoring, and verifying procedural skills
• Deliver high-quality patient care and maintain a patient-first approach during imaging
• Perform CT technologist duties, including safe operation of CT equipment
• Oversee and participate in quality assurance activities to maintain imaging standards
• Promote radiation safety practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license (required)
• Current ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification (required)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a CT Technologist
• Demonstrated knowledge of CT safety operations and quality assurance
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Education

• Current Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT CT certification
• BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging and CT safety protocols
• Strong background in radiologic technology and patient care principles
• Skilled in radiation safety and maintaining a safe imaging environment
• Experience with quality assurance processes for diagnostic imaging
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
• Good manual dexterity and ability to manage physical demands of the role
