Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (30 min meal) or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30 min meal) Day shift

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and package medications accurately for central fill distribution
- Perform quality checks and labeling to ensure patient safety
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with restocking
- Follow established protocols and sterile handling procedures
- Document work in pharmacy systems and communicate with pharmacists
- Support process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Adhere to state and federal pharmacy regulations and facility policies
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician registration or licensure as required by California (or ability to obtain)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred
- Previous experience in a central fill, retail, hospital, or long-term care pharmacy is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle routine physical tasks
- Willingness to undergo background check and required health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with medication packaging, labeling and dispensing workflows
- Comfortable using pharmacy management systems and barcode scanning
- Good math skills and ability to follow precise instructions
- Knowledge of HIPAA and basic pharmacy regulations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
