Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately under pharmacist supervision to support excellent patient care
• Maintain accurate medication and patient records, ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards
• Assist pharmacists with filling, labeling, and inventory management to keep the pharmacy running smoothly
• Perform Trinity Skills Checklist activities and participate in competency testing to demonstrate clinical proficiency
• Support medication reconciliation and communication with nursing teams to reduce errors and improve outcomes
• Complete required health screenings and documentation to meet facility onboarding standards

Qualifications

• Current Pharmacy Technician experience (clinical/hospital experience preferred)
• BLS certification required
• NRP and TNCC certifications required
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and successful License/Certificate Verification
• Up-to-date immunizations and screenings: Fit Test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, and a current physical/health statement
• Comfort working rotating shifts, including altered weekends

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; Pharmacy Technician certification or state license preferred/required as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety
• Familiarity with pharmacy workflows and inventory control
• Basic knowledge of medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing procedures
• Comfort using electronic medical records and pharmacy information systems
• Good communication skills for collaborating with pharmacists, nurses, and patients
• Ability to follow protocols, complete checklists, and document competencies
