Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with the facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and patient status with accuracy
Assist nursing staff with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and patients
Communicate clearly with the care team and document care provided
Support residents with dignity, privacy, and emotional needs

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass facility background and health screening requirements
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and infection control practices
Skill in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Familiarity with resident rights, dignity, and privacy standards
Time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate interpersonal skills and patience with diverse populations
