Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility in a safe manner
• Measure and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
• Support a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
• Document provided care accurately and in a timely fashion
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (as required by state regulations)
• BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility for adults
• Clear background check and ability to meet facility immunization requirements
• Reliable, compassionate, and a strong team player with good communication skills
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred but new grads who completed a state-approved CNA program are encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Vital signs and basic clinical observations
• Infection control and safe handling procedures
• Accurate charting and documentation practices
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
