Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned shifts
Perform thorough assessments and document changes in condition clearly
Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
Educate patients and families to support recovery and safe transitions
Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations with calm professionalism
Maintain accurate, timely electronic health record documentation

Qualifications

Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license (California RN license if practicing in CA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred where applicable
Current clinical experience as a bedside RN (recent per diem or acute care experience a plus)
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a care team
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Medication administration, IV therapy, and basic wound care knowledge
Comfortable with electronic health records and clinical documentation
Effective patient/family education and discharge planning abilities
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
