Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging in the operating room environment with precision and care
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to support patient care
• Prepare and position patients safely for CT procedures, maintaining sterility when required
• Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment while following radiation safety protocols
• Accurately document procedures, images, and patient information in the medical record
• Ensure high-quality images for fast, accurate diagnoses that directly impact patient outcomes
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance needs to minimize downtime

Qualifications

• Current ARRT RT(R) credential required
• Current ARRT (CT) credential required
• Current, unencumbered Oregon Radiologic Technologist license required
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred, OR experience strongly preferred
• Comfort working evening shifts and collaborating in fast-paced surgical environments

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in CT imaging and radiologic technology principles
• Familiarity with imaging in perioperative and OR settings
• Strong patient positioning and image acquisition skills
• Good understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
• Clear communication and teamwork skills for interacting with surgical teams
• Ability to operate and perform routine checks on CT equipment
