Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Provide compassionate bedside care while maintaining patient dignity and comfort
Support nursing staff by preparing patients and supplies for treatments and procedures
Document care given in a clear, timely manner and communicate observations to nurses
Help maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current state CNA certification (must be active and in good standing)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings (TB, immunizations)
Strong communication skills and a team-minded, compassionate approach to patient care
Previous long-term care or acute care experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED
State-approved CNA training program completion and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer/lift techniques
Infection control and proper use of PPE
Accurate vital signs measurement and basic charting
Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Attention to detail and reliable follow-through on care tasks
