Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based critical care to acutely and critically ill patients in the ICU
• Perform continuous patient assessment and implement timely interventions to manage life-threatening conditions
• Operate and manage advanced monitoring and life-support equipment (ventilators, hemodynamic monitors, etc.)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans
• Respond promptly to emergencies, applying ACLS/TNCC protocols as needed
• Document patient status, treatments, and outcomes accurately and communicate changes to the team
• Support families with clear, compassionate communication during high-stress situations

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required
• AHA BLS required upon submission
• AHA ACLS required (GSR ICU-CCU)
• TNCC required
• PALS preferred
• Previous ICU/CCU experience preferred
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required (CAP requirement)

Education

• Registered Nurse (RN) credential (active Oregon RN license required)
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent (required per CAP)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment and monitoring skills
• Familiarity with ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Proficiency in ACLS algorithms and trauma/critical care protocols
• Ability to prioritize and act decisively in fast-paced, high-acuity situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills across disciplines
• Comfort with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
