Shift Type: Rotating shifts (day & night): Primary day options Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; alternative day options Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM; night option Sunday-Wednesday, 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM or Monday-Wednesday, 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM. Call rotation required at least once weekly (30-minute response). One weekend per month and occasional holiday availability may be requested.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies including CTA chest, abdomen/pelvis and stroke protocols
• Administer contrast and manage contrast protocols safely using the Bracco injector
• Start IVs for outpatients reliably and compassionately
• Operate and trouble-shoot Siemens CT and related radiology equipment
• Acquire radiography images and assist with general radiology workflows when needed
• Document procedures and patient care in EPIC and manage images in PACS (transitioning from McKesson to Merge)
• Support non-invasive testing (Holters, EKGs, Zio monitors) and assist with scheduling/registration
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to departmental needs promptly

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum ~2 years of CT or related radiology experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to start IVs on outpatients
• Experience with Siemens CT systems and Bracco injector preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC charting and PACS workflows (McKesson/Merge) highly desired
• Driver's license required at time of submittal (radius rule applies)
• Candidates must not be currently full-time/part-time/PRN with any CommonSpirit facility (including CHI or Dignity)

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required; BLS required
• Additional ultrasound credentials (ARDMS) or RVT are a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging and CTA protocol knowledge
• Contrast administration and patient monitoring
• Proficiency with Siemens CT hardware and Bracco injector
• PACS image management and EPIC documentation skills
• Basic radiography/x-ray techniques
• Patient-focused care, communication, and safety practices
• Comfort assisting with non-invasive testing (EKG, Holters, Zio monitors)
• Adaptability during PACS transitions and workflow changes
