Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
Perform clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Document resident status, interventions, and outcomes in the facility charting system
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident-centered care
Educate residents and families about care plans and health maintenance
Respond promptly to changes in resident condition and escalate when necessary

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
Current BLS certification; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS) a plus
Comfortable with medication administration, wound care, and clinical assessments
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in resident assessment and care planning
Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety practices
Proficient with clinical documentation and Electronic Health Record basics
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
